PTO-Parent Teacher Organization

The PTO of Holy Trinity helps all of the youth ministries coordinate with one another, and sponsors several events for the whole community throughout the year. The PTO always needs more parents, grandparents, godparents, and loving parishioners to help out.

Church School

Holy Trinity’s Church School program uniquely blends the best practices of engaging and successful summer camp programs with the best practices of classroom teaching.  After Divine Liturgy in the chapel our students go to three 30 minute sessions.  PreK-2ndGrade go to Gym/Snack, then Class, then Arts and Crafts or Music. 3rd-6th Grade go to Arts and Crafts or Music, then Class, then Gym/Snack.  7th-12thGrade assist in leading Gym, Arts and Crafts, and Music and have class in between.  Join us in the chapel on a Sunday at 9:30am to see what it’s all about.

Little Angels

Little Angels is a ministry program for the youngest members of our community, from 40 Days to 3 years old with their caregivers.  It is structured as a God and Us Play and Pray group that meets during the Church School hour on Sunday mornings.  The Little Angels has a dedicated room in the middle of our Papadi building with Montessori style exploration stations.  Little Angels is not a drop off program as one of its primary goals is to connect parents and other care givers to one another in a Christ centered environment.

HOPE stands for Hellenic Orthodox Primary Education and is a ministry program for 4 year old to 2ndgrade youth.  It meets concurrently with the JOY program, alternating between Sunday afternoons and Sunday evenings once a month, and on occasion other times for special events.

JOY stands for Junior Orthodox Youth and is a ministry program for 3rdto 6thgrade youth.  It meets concurrently with the HOPE program, alternating between Sunday afternoons and Sunday evenings once a month, and on occasion other times for special events.

GOYA stands for Greek Orthodox Youth of America and is a ministry program for 7th-12thgrade youth.  It meets once a month on a Sunday evening for food, fellowship, and learning.  GOYA also has many events throughout the year, including regional volleyball, basketball, and Olympic style tournaments.

Vacation Church School

Our Vacation Church School is held the week after Memorial Day.  It is a drop off program that runs from 9:00am-12:30pm.  The program is offered for rising PreK4 students-rising 6thgrade students.  Rising 7thgrade-12thgrade students can volunteer to assist teaching, or running various areas of the program.

Oratorical Festival

The Saint John Chrysostom Oratorical Festival is an opportunity for our young people to learn more about their faith and share their findings with the community by giving a speech, writing an essay or poem, or expressing it through still visual arts. The speech component is judged for 7th-12thgrade, and also has a regional, metropolis, and national level of competition.  Click here to learn more about the Oratorical Festival and for a list of the topics click here

Saint Stephen’s Summer Camp

Saint Stephen’s summer camp is held at the beautiful Diaconia Retreat Center in Salem, SC. The summer camp is run by the Metropolis of Atlanta.  If you plan to sign your child up for camp, be sure to be ready as soon as registration opens as some weeks fill up in a little as 15 minutes. Greek School

The Greek School program of Holy Trinity is known throughout the Tampa Bay area as being of top quality.  Greek School class is held Monday and Wednesday evenings throughout the school year at 5:00pm.  Classes are also available for adults.

Junior Hellas Dancers

Our Junior Hellas Dancers learn traditional Greek dances and perform at our Greek Festival, as well as various community events throughout the year.  They also bring the joy of dance to home-bound members of our community and those in nursing homes.

Senior Hellas Dancers

The Senior Hellas Dancers of Holy Trinity learn traditional Greek dances and perform at our Greek festival, as well as various community events throughout the year.

Holy Trinity GOAL (Greek Orthodox Adult League) is a ministry for members who are no longer involved in YAL, but who are not yet a part of Leisure Timers.

The mission of The Holy Trinity Ladies Philoptochos Society is to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic purposes of our church.   In addition to these standing ministries, The Philoptochos continues to do fund raising, educational programs & retreats along with helping the Parish Priests & Parish Council with the needs of the church.  If you would like any additional information or any questions please call Kathy Pantelis, the president our of Philoptochos (727) 799-4605.


Wednesday Night Basketball
