Holy Trinity Ladies Philoptochos Society Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church

The mission of The Holy Trinity Ladies Philoptochos Society is to promote charitable, benevolent and philanthropic purposes of our church.   In addition to these standing ministries, The Philoptochos continues to do fund raising, educational programs & retreats along with helping the Parish Priests & Parish Council with the needs of the church.  If you would like any additional information or any questions, please call our Philoptochos President Kathy Pantelis at 727-799-4605.

Outreach Visitation

A group of dedicated volunteers visit our shut-ins and elderly on a regular basis and keep them part of our community.  They meet on the 1st Thursday at 1:00.  Sonja, Chair

Food Drive

A food drive is held on the last Sunday of each month.  Please bring food or monetary donations with you and drop them off at the grocery cart on your way into church.  All food and donations go to the RCS Food Pantry in Clearwater.  For more information about the food drive, please contact Church Office.

Sewers

Sewers meet on the second Tuesday of each month and make stuffed animals for children in local hospitals.  For more information or to get involved with the sewers group, please contact Church Office.

Support Our Troops

We collect needed items anytime for our Troops serving overseas.  A trunk in in the foyer of Matheos Hall where you can drop off your donations. For more information, please contact Church Office.

Religious Booth

We purchase and display, for sale, religious books, icons, prayer books and various items on Sundays, after Liturgy, for the convenience of our parishioners, to aid in their spiritual lives. Fran Mastorides, Chair

Sunshine Committee

Sends notes & cards to the ill and bereaved to extend community love & caring.  Despina Catsikopoulios, Chair

College Outreach

Collects and forwards information on our college students, living away from home to the parish in their college area, in an effort to stay connected to these students and aid in their spiritual lives.  Kathy Pantelis & Despina Garos, Chairs

Easter Card

In order to help our Community, The Philoptochos raises money, with an Easter Card project.  All proceeds benefit the Clearwater Free Clinic, which provides free medical services for the uninsured in our Community.  Ava Kostantinides, Chair

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Education, Awareness & Community outreach is achieved by distributing pink ribbons before Liturgy, guest Speakers and distribution of educational material.  Sonia Stefanides, Chair

Vasilopita

Provide Vasilopita and forward monies to National Philoptochos, for the benefit of St. Basil’s Academy.  Jeannie Demas, Chair

Fanouropita
